"BACK IN THE USA"

Moments after we left the border and started making our way into Washington, we were welcomed with about 15 minutes of rain, and the ever-loving construction delays.  Didn't matter to us as we had no particular time schedule to meet.

Here are some photos of our drive into Cashmere, WA to the Chelan Fairgrounds that would be our home for the night before going on to visit friends in Sedro-Wooley tomorrow.

We are Now in Washington
And Were Greeted by A Little Rain

We Happened to Have Two Suckers With us in the Truck
They Were Given ro us After Dinner Last Night at RaudZ
in Kelowna, B.C.
They Don't Like To See Anyone Leave
Without Having Some Kind of Dessert
So This is Their Treat When
Presenting Their Customers With THE BILL

It Was Raining and We Were Stopped
At a Road Construction Site
Now We Had Something To Do
Suck on a Sucker

Then The Lady With the Lens
Decided To See What Kind
Of Design Could be Made
Through the Window
And With Rain Drops
On The Window
So What Do You Think

As The Sucker Became Smaller
I Was Able to Bend and Twist the Sucker

Now It's Beginning to Look Like a Candle
Complete with Flame

Do You Think the Camera Lady
Might Have Been a Little Bit Bored
By This Construction Stop

Another Reflection Photo Opportunity

We Saw Many Empty Fruit Boxes Along the Way
All Appeared to be Ready to Be Filled With
The Tasty Fruit That is Ripening as We Speak

Saw Some Really Beautiful Valleys Along the Way

Is This Called Tunnel Vision

Another Reflection As We Drive Along in Washington

Looks Like Many Graduating Classes
Had Their Time on the Mountain

Power LInes From Wells Dam

Could That Be Snow on the Mountain
Not Exactly Looking Like the Canadian Rockies
I Think These are the Cascades (?)

Wish We Had Time for a Tour of The Cotlet Place

Darling Little Downtown Area in Cashmere
