"SILVER FALLS TOUR ROUTE - OREGON"

As we like to do, we got off the beaten path today in Oregon's Willamette Valley.  It is a 55-mile journey through spectacular countryside, small rural towns, just beaming with Oregon history.  There were many shops, galleries, food, lodging, and other travel services, plus seasonal fresh fruit, flowers, and family festivals.  If only one had time to do all this.  This route could be driven in 90-minutes, but it took us almost six hours!  It was great to get off the beaten path for a few hours to discover new sights; after all, Lewis and Clark took years to explore the Northwest!

Here is Part One of our travels along the Silver Falls Tour Route.
