Today was a typical Oregon morning along the coast .... foggy with temperature around 53 degrees and maintaining that temperature most of the day. We left a little after 8:00 a..m., and drove for three hours, only 156 miles, arriving in Crescent City, CA where we will spend a couple of days with my cousin, Don, and his wife, Debby. Slow driving along the coast, but The Road Runner averaged 13.2 miles per gallon. We are pleased. We filled our truck with diesel upon arrival in California and paid $3.99 per gallon.
I will have about three posts for our drive today and will start with a few scenes along the way, and we're still not in California in this post. Here goes:
