"OKANAGAN VALLEY TOUR 7/15/2012"

The happiest moment today, in addition to our adventures, was coming home and seeing photos of my grandson, Dalton, upon his arrival in Kings Bay, Georgia.  He returned from his first deployment on the USS Georgia (submarine) after being out to sea for several months.  A very proud moment, indeed, to see a handsome young man so grown up, but still remembering him with the little ringlets of blond curls!  God Bless Dalton and all our troops that are serving our country and defending our freedom.

Meanwhile, back to another hard day of fun, we left at 8:15 a.m., returning at 5:45 p.m.  We traveled 185 miles with temperatures ranging from 67 degrees to about 80 degrees.  It was sunny and cloudy, with about 5 to 10 minutes of some rain.  Other than that, another perfect day.

We headed out on this adventure to do a little wine comparing with the wines of Canada, to the wines of California.  Can you guess who we think has the better wines?

Here are some photos, with some other posts to follow.
