"PETALUMA TO TEMPLETON 7/30/12"

Our last travel day was uneventful, thank God!  In order to avoid Bay Area traffic, we didn't leave Petaluma until 9:15 a.m.  After traveling four hours 15 minutes, we were home in Templeton at 1:30 p.m.  Leaving Petaluma the temperature was 59 degrees and by the time we arrived home it was 96 degrees; almost a 40-degree rise in temperature.  After being gone for six seeks, and with temperatures sometimes in the triple digits, our home was a cool 79 degrees, so we felt lucky about that.

The Road Runner did another good job, with the average fuel consumption today being at 13.5 miles per gallon after traveling 255 miles.

Here are a few photos of our trip today.  I will do one final blog after this one, so stay tuned for the FINAL ONE!
