"MESA FALLS SCENIC BYWAY - IDAHO"

This Post will show the last part of our adventure for Sunday, 6/24.  We traveled 136 miles to explore areas we had not seen before.  The temperature today ranged from 65 degrees to 83 degrees, making for another pleasant day.  This morning, from a distance, we saw a Momma Elk and her baby calf.  Too far to be able to get a photograph.   For us, the Scenic Byway ended in Ashton.  These photos were selected from some miscellaneous areas we saw today.

Winding Our Way Along the Scenic Byway
This is a Typical Farmland Scene

In Addition to the Farm Buildings
We Were Treated with Seasonal Wildflowers
Photos Did Not Do the Flowers Justice

In the Background You Will See the Grand Teton Mountain Range
Can You Imagine Living on a Farm With This View

I Read that in This Area
The Tetons Can Be Seen From 40 Miles Away

It Appeared One Could Reach Out and Touch The Three Tetons
They Were Once a Single Mountain of Granite

This is The City at One End of the
Mesa Falls Scenic Byway

The Madison River is a Delight to Fishermen

Another Typical Country Setting

This is the Interior of the Anglers' Lodge
We had "Linner" at their  Riverfront Restaurant
In Island Park, Idaho

Our Window View at the Restaurant
Afforded us this Magnificent View
Notice the Seagull Flying
Over the Heads of the Fishermen

Outdoor Seating was Optional at the Restaurant

As we Dined Others were Enjoying the River
Here are Two Kayakers on a Lazy Sunday Afternoon

This Fisherman was Enjoying the Sport
He had Just Cast out His Fishing Line
Hope You Can See it in the Photo

After Five Hours in Idaho
We Were Welcomed Back to The
Big Sky of Montana

So Much To See in So Little Time
But We are Trying
