"SUNDAY IN IDAHO - 6/24/12"

Rod did another outstanding job for our adventures today.  Most of our 136 travel miles were spent in Idaho.  We continue to be blessed with wonderful sunny weather ... left with temperature at 62 degrees, returning at 2:00 p.m. when temperature was at 83 degrees.

Spending time in Idaho made me curious to know a little bit more about this state.  In doing a little research, I discovered that:

Idaho has a Population of 1.4 Million People
The Capital is Boise
Idaho is in Two Time Zones -- Mountain and Pacific
Idaho has more than 2,000 Lakes
Idaho Borders Six Other US States
OR, WA, MT, UT, NV, & WY
As well as the Province of British Columbia in Canada
Idaho Has a Four-Season Climate
Idaho has 13 National Forests
More than 40% of Idaho is Covered With Trees
Potatoes, Barley and Trout are Ranked Among Idaho's Top Crops
World's First Ski Chair Lift was Invented in Sun Valley, Idaho
Idaho's Nickname is "The Gem State"
With More than 80 Varieties of Gemstones Found Here

Trust you will enjoy my photo journal from today ... five hours were spent in Idaho, and we again saw some beautiful and unique areas.  Here is our first adventure of the day:
